The Game Character I Raised Was a Powerful Dynasty Heir Chapter 01
After transmigrating into the role of the real heiress whom my entire family despises, I became obsessed with playing video games.
Before long, through endless grinding and spending, I turned that ragged little beggar in the game into a business tycoon.
On the day I reached the max level, the little character on the screen told me that for every penny I spent, he would give me a massive 10,000x cashback.
I originally thought it was just a new storyline.
I didn’t expect that the very next second, a new message popped up on my phone.

That was when I completely lost my mind.
The fake heiress accused me of stealing her things and demanded that I kneel and apologize to her.
Then I knelt at her doorstep and spent the whole night grinding quest materials for my in-game character.
My own brother slapped me across the face for the sake of the fake daughter, and it made my lip bleed.
But I barely noticed. I was too busy scrambling to find my phone after the slap sent it flying, my game still running in the background.
My parents thought I was a disgrace to the family and wanted me to move out.
I agreed immediately without hesitation, asking only for $10,000 to spend on in-game purchases.
Everyone thought I was completely wasted.
It wasn’t until the golden heir of New York’s elite circles came to call and broke off our engagement that things changed.
When I looked up, I was surprised to find that his face looked exactly like the character I controlled in the game.

William Shaw sat on the sofa across from me, exuding a cold, forbidding aura, like an unapproachable iceberg.
I stole a glance at his profile, and my heart began to race uncontrollably.
It was so similar.
The shape of his eyebrows and eyes was exactly like the character I had carefully raised in the game.
“I’m going to get a glass of water.”
My mother stood up and tugged at my father’s sleeve.
The fake heiress, Chloe Lynn, tactfully followed along, but not before turning back to glare at me as she left.
The living room suddenly fell silent, leaving only William and me.
The atmosphere was a little awkward.
I stared at his face over and over again, my mind a complete jumble.
The characters in the game featured a chibi art style with lively and adorable expressions.
Every time I topped up his account, he would smile with his eyes half-closed and jump up and down on the spot.
Yet the person standing before me seemed to radiate an aura that screamed “Keep Out,” with an icy indifference etched across his brow that kept everyone at arm’s length.
For some strange reason, I opened my mouth and tentatively called out, “Lil’ beggar?”
William froze in his tracks.
He slowly turned his head, his jet-black eyes fixed intently on me, as cold as ice. “What did you just call me?”
I was startled by the look in his eyes and instinctively took a step back. “N-nothing…”
He stood up, took a step toward me, lowered his voice, and said, enunciating each word clearly, “I don’t know where you picked up that nickname, but I suggest you forget it.”
I blinked and looked at him, a little bewildered.
He leaned down, bringing his face close to my ear, his eyes cold and menacing. “If there’s a next time, it won’t just be you—the entire Lynn family will suffer.”
After saying that, he straightened up, stepped back to his original spot, and resumed his expressionless demeanor.
I froze in my tracks, a thin sheen of sweat breaking out on my back.
That reaction… wasn’t that a bit over the top?
