Mission Fail: Kill Me Now Chapter 09

“Chloe would never do something like that. I can prove she wasn’t the one driving the car.”

“I believe in Chloe, too. I won’t let her get hurt again.”

System: [Host, both Casey and Finn’s affection level for you has reached 90%. Are you sure you don’t want

to restart the mission?]

“No. Are the remaining points enough to exchange for all the truth-revealing videos?”

After receiving confirmation from the System, I immediately exchanged my points for the videos.

Soon, Lucas and Leo both received the email. Curious, Leo clicked it open. The next second, all the color

drained from his face.

“This rear-end collision was crafted pretty cleverly. I heard Leo has fallen head over heels for you now. When are you planning to make your move? Don’t tell me you’ve actually fallen for that man?”

Hannah leaned into the man’s arms, speaking in a soft, almost coy tone. “Of course not. The only person I love is you. Getting close to him this time is just to help you steal their company’s confidential information, so you can completely defeat your younger brother and take over the company.”

“I heard he was originally pursuing another woman named Chloe. How did you get him to change his

mind so quickly?”

Hannah let out a dismissive snort. “Dealing with someone like him is easy. I just told him I had trauma from the car accident, and he immediately started obsessing over me. Then, I casually told him Chloe was targeting me, and of course, he started feeling even more sorry for me.”

Hearing this, both Casey and Finn’s expressions turned pale because they had both played a part in Leo believing Hannah so easily. However, even as they looked at me with guilt, I didn’t react to them at all.

“And after everything is done, how are you planning to get rid of him? I don’t want my woman being touched by another man.”

The man’s tone carried a hint of jealousy, and Hannah quickly began placating him.

“That’s easy. His parents have always wanted him to marry into a strategic marriage. I’ll just find him an older woman and send him off. Once he’s been ‘used,’ he’ll be too ashamed to see me. And after that’s done, we’ll just push everything onto Chloe. Then, I’ll be clean.”

Leo’s expression grew darker and darker. Hannah, now visibly panicking, tried to defend herself, but the second video began playing.

“What bad luck, getting caught by Leo. But don’t worry, I’ve told him I was framed by Chloe. He trusts me completely. As long as I act heartbroken and leave at the right time, he and the other two men will never let Chloe go. After that, what does she even have left to compete with me? Good thing your face wasn’t

captured. I’ll just say you’re a man Chloe hired with money. We cannot let them find out your identity, or

things will get complicated.”

Leo’s fists clenched tighter and tighter, his gaze locked onto Hannah. There had been many inconsistencies back then, yet he chose to believe her, leaving me to bear the brunt of his revenge all

these years.

“This isn’t true. The video must have been edited. Leo, I was framed-”

Before she could finish, Lucas had tapped open another video. That familiar male voice sounded again.

“Before you go abroad, do one more thing for me. When you come back, I’ll marry you. My younger brother has been getting more and more attention from our father lately. I need you to ruin him for me. He likes mountain hiking, and he’ll be going again this weekend. That area has no surveillance and very few people, which makes it perfect. If possible, make sure Chloe takes the blame as well.”

The screen shifted, finally showing the man’s face clearly in the footage.
