The Viral Post That Exposed My Husband’s Five Women Chapter 06

Kelsey stared at me, then charged toward me

screaming.

“You?! I knew there was something off about you

earlier! You’re the one behind all this!”

Maya immediately stepped in front of me and

shoved her back.

“Behind what, exactly?”

“Are you saying what’s going on between the five

of you and Mr. Mercer isn’t true?”

Kelsey recoiled, the color draining from her face.

Ryan dropped the microphone and hurried down from the stage.

“Natalie, let me explain!”

“I had no idea they were posting that stuff online! They were just making things up to show off!”

“If you’re upset, I’ll get Legal involved right now. We’ll sue them for defamation and for damaging the company’s reputation. Okay?”

“Legal?” Brianna staggered back a step. “Ryan!”

“You promised me a bonus equal to two years‘

salary! How am I the one making things up? I

didn’t lie!”

The others panicked too.

“Why are you getting Legal involved? Ryan, you

said all of this yourself!”

Kelsey immediately pulled out her phone and

played a voice message.

“Kelsey, the car’s ready. After the gala tonight, how

about I give you a little reward? This time, we’re

going to fuck in the car all night.”

Ryan’s low, suggestive voice rang through the

room.

The crowd erupted.

Lauren, hands trembling, pulled out her own phone.

and played another recording.

“Baby, that house is over 3,200 square feet. Once

we move in together, we can fuck anywhere we

want.”

Hearing that, Alyssa hurriedly opened one of her.

own saved messages and played it aloud.

“Alyssa, at work you’re my assistant, but to me,

you’re my woman. I’ll make sure you get a stake in

the company too.”

Chloe gritted her teeth, pulled out an ultrasound

report, and slapped it onto the table.

“This is my ultrasound!”

“I’m already two months pregnant with his baby!

How can you say I made that up?”

The more she spoke, the more emotional she

became. She held one hand over her stomach as

tears spilled down her face.

“You said you were going to tell everyone about us

tonight!”

“So why are you… why are you with all of them.

too?”

That was all it took.

The other women started pulling out their phones.

“What? Ryan told me he was going to tell everyone

about us tonight too!”

“Me too!”

“I got the same message!”

“Oh my God…”

Only then did everyone else put it together.

All five women had received the same message.

People around them covered their mouths,

laughing.

“So all five of them thought tonight was the night

he was finally making their relationship public. No.

wonder they all showed up dressed like they were

headed to a red carpet.”

“This is ridiculous. Did Mr. Mercer seriously use

the exact same line on all five of them?”

“I’m dying. Five women got the same text saying

he was going to tell everyone about them, and not one of those promises was real.”

Ryan instinctively looked up at me.

“Natalie… did you send those messages?”

“You… you already knew?”

I looked at him without expression.

“Who do you think took that photo at the

hospital?”

His face grew whiter by the second. Even his voice

started trembling.

“Natalie, it isn’t what it looks like. Please, let me

explain.”

Explain?

I slapped him across the face.

“Ryan, I don’t want an explanation.”

“As of today, you’re fired.”

“What?” Kelsey’s head snapped up. “You’re firing

Mr. Mercer? Who do you think you are?”

Brianna immediately backed her up. “Exactly!

What gives you the right? If Ryan loses his job,

who’s supposed to pay my bills?”

The others started chiming in too.

“Exactly! Men fool around. What’s so shocking

about that?”

“Ryan has money. He can spend it however he

wants. As long as I’m the one he really loves in the

end, I don’t care!”

“M–Me too!”

Chloe wiped at her tears.

“I’m carrying Ryan’s baby. He’ll settle down once

the baby’s here!”

“You’re the one causing trouble. Who even are

you? Get out!”

What?

I had assumed they were victims too–women

Ryan had kept in the dark.

Apparently, they weren’t worth my sympathy.

I scoffed.

“Who am I?”

“Take a good look.”

With that, I raised a hand.

The house lights came up.

Several longtime employees recognized me

immediately.

“Ms. Ashford!”

“It’s Ms. Ashford!”

“Ms. Ashford is here!”
