their feet.

“Two years‘ salary for one Excellence Award? 

Why?” 

“I only got fifteen hundred bucks a few years ago!”

award was rigged too?!” 

One employee was bold enough to point straight

Brianna shot to her feet, looking smug. “Yeah,

Then an affectionate photo of Kelsey and Ryan 

appeared beside it. 

Jaws dropped across the room. 

“Kelsey’s man is Mr. Mercer too? So she and 

Brianna are both…?” 

“No wonder someone who hasn’t even been here a 

year won an Excellence Award. She’s Mr. Mercer’s 

side piece!” 

Kelsey covered her face. “No! That’s not what this

Then she seemed to snap back to reality and

By then, the entire room was stunned.

The room went dead silent. 

Everyone stared wide–eyed at Ryan onstage, then 

at the five women sitting below, their faces
