When I Dreamed of the Alpha Again Chapter 10

When I Dreamed of the Alpha Again Chapter 10

Nathan’s POV

By the time Allie’s Luna Coronation took place, I was already gravely ill.

Over the years, I often found myself thinking back to the Allie from our youth.

She was innocent, bright, and would always call for me wherever she went.

There were even moments when I was uncertain.

Was Allie, in my heart, my little sister… or my future Luna?

After two lifetimes, even I could no longer tell.

Now, I was nothing more than a hollow shell-kept alive only by news of her.

Allie went abroad to study.

Allie rejected every arranged marriage.

Allie said she hated bonding.

In this life, she was able to fly to Europe alone, travel freely on her own, and after bringing her parents out of the pack, she settled in the northern territories-becoming the Alpha of the strongest pack in the North.

I heard her wolf, Mia, was powerful… and breathtakingly beautiful.

A white wolf.

I saw her once from a distance, and I never forgot her.

So that was it.

She truly was my fated mate.

Looking at the photo of her-radiant, confident, untouchable-I finally understood.

The Allie who loved me… was already gone.

She had died during those three years of bonding between us.

The Allie I deliberately shut away from the world, while repeatedly pushing her to the edge with

accusations of being a “murderer.”

The Allie who would only ever call my name-“Nathan”-with helpless trust and quiet pain… she was truly gone.

I still remember how, during her depressive episodes, she once picked up a silver dinner knife and almost hurt me. Afterward, she would sob and apologize endlessly.

Fragile. Careful. Desperate to please.

It was hard to believe someone like that could ever have killed Tiffany.

But Tiffany had said… it was her.

She loved me.

She didn’t want to share Nathan with anyone else.

Even her diary had been read aloud to me by Tiffany.

Only then did I realize that the obedient, well-behaved Allie I thought I knew… had always carried hidden jealousy and bitterness inside her.

She could envy. She could hurt.

She was just better at hiding it.

But by the time the truth came out, I finally understood how wrong I had been.

Allie was right.

The Allie who loved me had died long ago in the previous life.

And I… was beyond redemption.

I continued watching over her from afar. I even sent allies from the pack to support her new

territory, but they were all rejected.

Perhaps this was retribution.

Every night, I was tortured by memories from both lives.

In the previous life, Allie once called me in a trembling voice.

“Nathan… the pack house is so dark. It feels like something has gotten inside my body. It hurts… I

feel so sick… but I can’t find what it is.”

Only much later did I realize she had already been sinking into severe depression.

And now… I finally understood it.

I could feel it too.

That thing that crawled inside you, slowly consuming everything until living itself became

unbearable.

When the “second chance mate” who made Allie smile again appeared, I knew… it was time for me

to leave.

The Blackstone Pack had long declined, no longer maintained by anyone.

I went alone to the rooftop.

This was the same place where Allie had once jumped without hesitation.

Allie had never asked me why I had also been reborn.

The truth was-

On the night she jumped, I held her lifeless body in my arms and felt something inside me being violently hollowed out.

Love or hate… there was nothing left.

So I set everything on fire. And let it all burn away.

The wind howled around me.

I stepped off the edge.

“Allie… go on and live a long, happy life.”

“In the next life… let’s not meet again.”
