“What…” Hollis checked the blood. “How do you feel right now?”
The moment it happened, I felt dizzy.
Now I just felt dry-mouthed and burning hot.
“A bit hot.” I sat down, drank some water, but only grew thirstier.
Hollis took notes on my reactions.
The effects grew stronger. My face flushed red. It was embarrassing.
We both immediately thought of the drop of plant extract we had just obtained from the flower.
We were developing an antidote in the first place. Perhaps we could try using it.
