The next day, the wedding went on as scheduled. 

Just as Larry and I were about to exchange rings, Bill arrived. 

He was wearing a white suit. If it wasn’t for the blood on it, everyone would have mistaken him for the groom. 

Bill walked in front of me, and then he took out a bright red heart from his pocket. 

I know that he dug it out of Melissa’s body an hour 

ago. 

Bill had gone completely crazy. 

He asked, “Shirley, this is the gift you want. I have brought it for you. Will you marry me?” 

I took the heart that belonged to my brother, and my heart was aching. 

Sirens whistled outside.
