Once His Toy, Now His Obsession Chapter 01

Once His Toy, Now His Obsession Chapter 01

My boyfriend arranged for me to marry his best friend, only because his first crush had returned from abroad, and he didn’t want her to misunderstand our relationship.

I decided to obediently comply with him.

Within our social circle, people scoffed at my decision. They said he had never loved me and only treated me as nothing more than a fleeting amusement.

On the day of the wedding, I stood beside my bridegroom, recited my vows, clinked glasses in ritual, and kissed him.

In front of everyone, my boyfriend, who had claimed to never have loved me, watched with a storm in his eyes and shattered the wine glass in his hand.

On the wedding night, I received a call from my boyfriend, Bill Norris.

“I’m drunk. Come pick me up.” Bill’s tone was as arrogant as ever. He seemed that he could not take no for an answer.

I didn’t hesitate. After I explained to the groom, I changed my clothes and prepared to go out.

The groom, Larry Simon, nodded to show understanding, without any intention of stopping me.

It was because our ridiculous marriage was arranged by Bill.

Bill was a wealthy and powerful man in Erlands. I had been his devoted simp for four years, and Larry had been his sidekick for four years.

We had no right to go against Bill at all.

Four years ago, Bill’s first love, Melissa Osborne, was critically ill. She required a heart transplant.

So Bill used his power to find out that my brother’s HLA match was just right for her. He designed to kill my brother and saved Melissa with my brother’s heart.

However, Melissa broke up with Bill after recovering and then went abroad.

After learning the truth, I planned to avenge my brother.

I tried to get close to Bill. I started as his assistant, then became his simp. Eventually, I became his girlfriend, but not everyone knew about that.

Everyone thought I was deeply in love with Bill, and I was the most devoted person to him in the world.

Someone once joked that I had obtained everything I had by flattering Bill all the time.

When Bill hugged me affectionately, he said that he would give me whatever I wanted.

I said I wanted his love, but the truth was that I wanted his life.

Perhaps because Bill’s love for me became more and more well-known, Melissa, who was abroad, finally couldn’t take it.

She returned home in a furious manner, vowing to defend her position as the official partner of Bill.

Bill really did as Melissa expected. Before she returned, Bill hastily married me to his good friend, who was also his sidekick, Larry.

“Melissa is coming back. I don’t want her to misunderstand. She has a bad heart and can’t be triggered. In the future, you are not allowed to mention your relationship with me in front of her. As long as you are obedient, I will not let you down,” Bill was smoking a cigar while explaining to me calmly.

He thought I would cry and act up.

However, I just listened silently and then nodded.

Bill probably felt a little guilty since my reaction was so calm. He held me in his arms and comforted me softly, “Don’t be sad and don’t cry. Your marriage to Larry is just a front. You will still be with me in the future. Just don’t let Melissa find out. Be good, I won’t abandon you.”

I said nothing.

One week later, my wedding to Larry was held as scheduled.

No one expected Bill to attend.

He carried a solemn aura while calmly observing every move Larry and I made.

I never even looked at him.

Like a bride immersed in happiness, I took Larry’s arm and, led by the host, swore with Larry to spend their lives together.

Then, we exchanged rings and had a glass of wine.

I glanced at Bill and saw that his expression soured.

Finally, when Larry kissed the corners of my lips, the gloomy-faced Bill crushed the red wine glass in his hand.

Everyone who noticed this scene was horrified.

However, I sneered inwardly.

Bill left and rushed to the airport to pick up Melissa, who had just returned to the country.

People in our circles laughed at me behind my back, saying that I ended up losing everything.

Since Melissa had returned, Bill wouldn’t show me any love again.

Unfortunately, Bill couldn’t even wait till after I spent my bridal night before he called me again.
