“Who is it?!”
Federico threw his jacket over naked Silvia. When he saw Ludovica, his brows instantly tightened.
“Ludovica?”
Ludovica had no room to care about anything else. Her voice trembled.
“Federico, they were going to… I want to leave. Have your bodyguards send me home.”
Federico’s face turned cold, and he was about to lift her into his arms when Silvia grabbed his arm tightly.
Pleasure still lingered between Silvia’s brows as she gave a scoffing laugh.
“Ludovica, can you at least make your lies believable? I told them your identity in advance. Even if they had
all the nerve in the world, they wouldn’t dare do anything to you.”
Then she turned toward Federico, looking wronged.
“Federico, does Ludovica dislike me being with you, so she’s saying this on purpose?”
Ludovica met Federico’s half-smiling expression, and her heart tightened.
“I didn’t! Federico, you can have someone check the surveillance footage.”
Unfortunately, those men came chasing after her right then.
Hearing that, they immediately twisted the truth.
“Federico, we really didn’t. We only followed your order and asked her to pour us some drinks. Who knew
she’d suddenly get angry and hit us with a bottle? We got upset and splashed some liquor on her.”
The man was covered in blood, which made him far more convincing than Ludovica.
Federico pressed his large hand against Ludovica’s back and pushed her forward.
“Ludovica, it’s just a little wine. It’s fine. And I believe after today, you’ll finally learn how to behave.”
A loud boom echoed inside Ludovica’s head.
Her heart twisted with agony.
She stared in terror at the men reaching for hér. Her fingers dug hard into the doorframe as she begged desperately, “Federico, I’m not lying! Please, don’t let them take me!”
Federico calmly, cruelly peeled her fingers off one by one.
“That’s enough, Ludovica. Be good. At most, I’ll come find you in an hour.”

The door slammed shut, and Ludovica’s heart went completely cold.
This was the man who claimed he loved her, yet he had pushed her into hell without mercy.
The men closed in with filthy smirks and dragged her roughly toward the private room.
Their hands crawled over her like slick snakes.
If they really violated her, she would rather die.
A desperate resolve flashed in Ludovica’s eyes.
She grabbed the flower stand beside her and smashed it at them, then used the opening to run with
everything she had.
The terrace was not far away.
Beyond the window was the street.
She did not hesitate.
She jumped.
Her body slammed hard onto the roof of a car, and crushing pain swallowed her like a tide.
Ludovica collapsed in a pool of blood, convulsing so violently she could not even scream.
As her consciousness slipped away, she suddenly remembered the day Federico had proposed.
If time could rewind, she would never have agreed to marry him.
