Last Life, I Divorced Him and He Became a Billionaire. This Life, I’m Keeping the Billionaire Chapter 13
Neither of us expected we’d fit together this well.
We lost control again and again all night.
I scratched Caspian’s back until it bled, and he left bite marks all over my neck and shoulders.
We’d indulged too much. When Ada woke up in the morning, neither of us could get out of bed.
I kicked him half-asleep. “Ada’s awake. Go feed her.”
Caspian’s eyes were half-closed, but he found his way to the kitchen, warmed the milk, and slipped the bottle
into Ada’s mouth.
From that day on, Caspian and I had an unspoken physical relationship.
He stayed at my place whenever he wasn’t traveling.
Now that we were closer, I begged him to teach me how to find projects and invest.
Caspian held me in his arms while scrolling on his iPad. “Willow, are you only sleeping with me for my
money?”
I pinched him angrily, “If I just wanted money, I’d ask you directly. Why would I bother with long-term
investments?”
Caspian laughed.
He was gentler and more of a gentleman than I thought. Except for being passionate in bed, he was thoughtful almost all the time.
He held my hand when we went shopping, carried Ada so I could browse peacefully.
Every month, he even had the nanny take Ada for the whole day just to take me to a luxury hotel suite so I
could fully relax.
Being with him was the first time I’d felt truly cherished by a man.
It felt amazing-nothing like how I’d felt with Hudson.
When I saw Hudson again, I felt nothing at all.
Hudson had his lawyer arrange the meeting. He said he wanted to give a few more things to Ada.
We met at a café. He’d already ordered food when I arrived.
After I sat down, he didn’t hand over the documents right away. He just kept staring at me.
“What?”
“Nothing. You just seem… different.”
“Oh, really? I guess when you’re happier, you get prettier too.”
