Four Alphas Took My Moon Crown To My Adopted Sister Chapter 08

Four Alphas Took My Moon Crown To My Adopted Sister Chapter 08

I stared at him, finding the whole scene absurd.

Cedric, do you truly think I care about Blackwood Pack’s wealth and power?”

Cedric rushed to explain. “Stella, I love you. I just couldn’t see my own heart before.”

I cut him off. Your love costs too much. It

demands my dignity, and I won’t pay that price.”

I turned to Bowen. Shall we continue?”

Bowen smiled. Of course.”

He leaned down and gently bit my neck, leaving

his mark upon me.

Cedric tried to charge forward, but elite warriors

from Bowen’s pack pinned him to the ground.

He struggled and shouted my name, his voice

filled with utter despair.

Carl, Louis and Gordon stood among the guests,

watching Cedric struggle. Defeat and remorse

were plain to see on their faces.

They finally understood. The Stella who’d always

looked back for them was gone, lost on that night

at the auction.

In the week after the mate ceremony, I officially

took charge of all diplomatic affairs for

Blackwood Pack.

My father lost most of his authority, and Teresa lost her last line of support.

She went to beg Cedric for help, but the pack guards turned her away at Blackwood’s borders.

Cedric had lost his mind.

He locked himself inside his office in the council

hall, replaying old videos and photos of us from the past three years.

It was around this time that Bowen uncovered a

classified old file.

Carl had always believed Teresa was the one who’d funded him through his hardest days at Nightfall Pack.

Teresa had once shown him a blurry money order, claiming the money came from her own savings.

But Bowen found the original records.

Every last penny came from savings I’d built up for

years.

Even the letters that helped him win support from

other packs bore my handwriting.

Carl was waiting for me downstairs from the

council hall when he received the file.

Tears streamed down his face the moment he

saw me. StellaI’m so sorryI never knew.”

He tried to throw himself at my feet, but the

guards pushed him roughly to the ground.

I looked down at him. Where was our friendship

when you stood with Teresa to humiliate me?”

Louis arrived next, carrying proof that Teresa had

framed me.

It detailed what had happened three years prior.

Teresa had locked herself inside the pack house

and faked eating wolfbane.

While I’d rushed to fetch the pack healer to save

her, she’d staged the entire incident alone inside

the building.

Louis dropped to his knees and slapped his own face repeatedly.

I was wrong! I hurt you all for that shewolf’s lies!”

I watched his pitiful display, feeling no joy at all.

Your slaps mean nothing. They can never heal the

severe injury on my shoulder.”

Gordon was the last one to break down.

He’d always assumed I’d gotten close to so many

Alphas purely for gain.

Then he found the notebook everyone had

mocked. It held far more than just the elders‘

preferences.

It noted what medicine soothed his

stomachaches, what protective gear Louis needed

for skiing, and which scents helped Carl sleep.

The notes they’d called my schemes to climb the ranks were nothing but my genuine care for them over three years.

Gordon clutched the notebook and wept in the rain

like a helpless pup.

Late one night, Cedric broke into my bedroom in

the pack house.

He slipped past the patrol guards and climbed

quietly up onto the terrace.
