My Stepsister Livestreamed My Billion-Dollar Wedding Gown Chapter 04

My Stepsister Livestreamed My Billion-Dollar Wedding Gown Chapter 04

Talia’s livestream stayed live the whole time.

Her fans laughed at my messy, defeated state.

[She deserves it.]

[She shouldn’t have ruined her sister’s fun.]

[Who does she think she is, bossing her sister around?]

Talia made a silly face at the camera in a sweet, childish tone.

“Gwen is just jealous of me. I’m the cutest one here.”

She looked down and played with the jade medallion, growing fonder of it by the second. She lifted her chin with a carefree smile.

“This pretty thing is mine now. I’ll wear it at Gwen’s wedding to add to the fun.”

Viewers in the stream started sending gifts. Full-screen special effects exploded across the display, and the comments flooded the screen in unison.

[Put the whole wedding gown on, girl!]

[Put it on! Put it on!]

Talia laughed brightly.

“I’ll put it on once the gifts hit the goal!”

More stream super gifts burst across the screen.

Golden effects rolled in wave after wave, and the comments kept rushing upward, filled with

demands.

[Put the wedding gown all the way on]

[Wear it and make that sister furious!]

Talia giggled loudly at the flood of gifts, covering her face with both hands, eyes curved like

crescent moons.

“You guys spoil me so much!”

Hale, Sterling, and Mom Sl

“Wear it! You have to wear it!”

“Let the whole internet see how beautiful our bride looks!”

I sprinted forward to stop them, my voice cracking from panic.

“Don’t put it on! It won’t fit her!”

A flicker of ugly emotion crossed Talia’s face, but she quickly forced tears and turned to our

parents.

“Do you guys think I’m fat too?”

Mom flew toward me in a rage and slapped me across the cheek.

“Gwen! I’m so disappointed in you!”

I barely registered the stinging red mark on my cheek. All I cared about was stopping Talia.

“Talia! You can’t wear this gown! It isn’t yours!”

My obvious panic only excited Talia more.

“Hale, Sterling! Hold her back for me. I’m putting the gown on!”

Hale and Sterling each grabbed one of my arms and held me in place.

I struggled with all my strength, but I couldn’t break free.

Talia handed the livestream phone to Sterling and ran toward the gown, not bothering to lift its

train.

I shouted after her.

“You can’t force this on. You’re gonna destroy it!”

She ignored me completely, grabbing the skirt and trying to pull it over herself.

The gown was custom-cut for specific measurements. Talia’s frame was far larger than the dress was built for.

Talia gritted her teeth and forced herself inside. The zipper caught at her back and refused to move.

Hale rushed over, grabbed the zipper pull, and pulled with all his strength to help her.

Sterling still held the live

“Watch this everyone! It’s the big reveal!”

Then there was a sharp rip.

A huge tear split the gown’s front panel. Bead embroidery scattered everywhere, and faceted diamonds rolled all over the floor.

I was horrified, my eyes nearly splitting with fury. I froze, stunned.

“Take it off right now!”

Talia kept smiling and waved dismissively.

“It’s just damaged. We can fix it. Don’t be so stingy, Gwen.”

Hale and Sterling didn’t care at all, barely lifting their

eyes.

“It’s just one gown. We can buy a new one if we need to.’

Mom chimed in with a smile, wrinkles crinkling at the corners of her eyes.

“Perfect. Talia can try on several more and pick a prettier one.”

Talia walked over to me, tilted her chin up, her smile sickly sweet.

“Gwen, sorry I broke your gown.”

I paid no attention to her.

My gaze stayed locked on the ruined gown, my heart sinking lower and lower.

The tear ran all the way down to the waist. Beaded threads snapped. The betrothal heirloom hidden

in the sash had been pulled free and fallen onto the floor among the scattered diamonds.

This gown could never be repaired.

I slowly lifted my head and looked at Talia, standing there enjoying the chaos.

She was filled with malicious glee, unaware disaster was about to crash down on her.

I let out a cold laugh.

“Whoever said this wedding was mine?”

The second the words left my mouth, the dressing room door was pushed open from outside.

It was Kian Jett, oldest son of the wealthiest Jett family.

He spoke casually.

“Gwen, how’s the gown coming…”

His sentence died off. His gaze landed on the total mess filling the room.
