From Rejected Omega To The Supreme Luna Chapter 12
Julian POV:Â
The door slammed into the wall like thunder.Â
Estelle jumped. Her face shifted from sneer to victim instantly.Â
“Julian! Oh, thank Goddess! Jeanette said-”Â
“Silence.”Â
Alpha Command slammed the room. Estelle choked, body going rigid.Â
“Play the recording,” I said to Jeanette.Â
“I… what?” Jeanette stammered.Â
“The voice note she sent you,” I lied. “Where she admits everything.”Â
Estelle’s eyes widened.Â
Jeanette, seeing her chance, stepped up. “You mean where she called me a brat and admittedÂ
hiring the Rogues?”Â
“Liar!” Estelle broke through the Command. “IÂ
never said that! She’s framing me!”Â
“You just said it,” I said calmly. “I heard you.”Â
“I… I was joking!” Estelle scrambled back.Â
“A joke?” I pulled out the plastic bag with the crushed recorder pieces. A bluff.Â
I tossed it on the bed.Â
“Tech team recovered the data.”Â
Estelle stared at the plastic. Her scent soured.Â
Rotten eggs.Â
“Tell me the truth,” I commanded. Eyes glowing gold. “Did you cause, the accident?”Â
The Command squeezed her lungs. SheÂ
couldn’t lie.Â
“Yes,” she gasped. “Yes! But I didn’t mean for you to get hurt! Just a crash so I could ‘save‘ you!”Â
“And the fire?”Â
“The truck wasn’t supposed to have silver! I ran! But Ember… she went in.”Â
“She went in,” I repeated. “And took the silverÂ
meant for me.”Â
“She’s an Omega!” Estelle shrieked. “That’s whatÂ
they’re for! I did you a favor!”Â
“You loved the crown,” I spat.Â
I turned to Jeanette. “Guards.”Â
“What are you doing?” Estelle whispered.Â
“Estelle Murphy,” I announced. “For treason and attempted regicide, I strip you of rank. You are nothing.”Â
Two warriors entered.Â
“Take her to the Dungeon. Silver cells.”Â
Estelle screamed as they dragged her. “I’mÂ
pregnant! I’m carrying your pup!”Â
I sniffed.Â
“No,” I said. “You’re just bloated with lies.”Â
I turned to Jeanette.Â
“And you.”Â
“Julian, I helped!”Â
“You bullied her. You cut her. You made her lifeÂ
hell.” I looked at her with zero sympathy. “Exiled to the Northern Wastelands. Tonight.”Â
“But-”Â
“Go.”Â
Jeanette fled.Â
I stood alone. I had purged the rot. 1Â
But looking at my reflection, I saw the empty space beside me.Â
“I’m coming, Ember,” I whispered. “I will find you.”
