My Mafia Husband Had Nine Mistresses, Then Said He Loved Me Chapter 08

Ludovica woke with pain tearing through her body and found herself back in the hospital.

She had multiple soft-tissue injuries. A piece of metal had cut a deep wound into her leg, deep enough to

expose flesh, and it took ten stitches to close it.

Federico’s eyes were cold as ice.

“Ludovica, I only asked you to play with Silvia’s friends a little. Did you have to make such a dramatic scene

and jump off a building?”

“Do you know how badly you scared Silvia’s friends? Acting like this, do you have even a shred of dignity as

the Cesarini family’s first lady?”

Ludovica no longer had any desire to explain.

Her voice was calm. “Whatever you say.”

The irritation in Federico’s chest grew heavier, mixed with a fear he could not name.

It was as if something most important to him had been silently lost.

His face turned completely cold, his gaze sinister.

“Ludovica, you disappoint me too much. Stay in the hospital these next few days and reflect on yourself. When you’ve reflected enough, I’ll send someone to pick you up.”

Ludovica did not answer.

She only watched Federico stride away with an unusually calm expression.

No.

She would never reflect again.

Because she was leaving him soon.

As for the Donna who could satisfy him, she was more than willing to hand that title over.

Her phone rang crisply.

Leonardo’s lazy, smiling voice came through.

“Ludovica, the ticket is booked. The car I arranged for you is downstairs. Can you leave now?”

The tension in Ludovica’s heart finally dropped. She let out a long breath.

“Yes. I’m coming down now.”

She propped herself up and dragged her injured legs downstairs with difficulty.

When Leonardo saw her wrapped in bandages, his dark eyes narrowed.

He helped her into the car.

“Here are the ticket, the divorce certificate, and your relevant documents. Anything else you need me to handle?”

Ludovica looked distantly toward the villa and spoke with a lightness she had not felt in a long time.

“Then please help me mail this divorce certificate to Federico and take me to the airport.”

Leonardo’s lips curved. “As you command.”

The car soon arrived at the airport.

The moment the plane rushed into the sky, Ludovica snapped her SIM card in half and threw it into the trash.

She would never have to see Federico again.
