They Put My Pregnant Daughter-In-Law On A Paternity Wheel For Fun Chapter 03

Jorenna smiled like she’d heard the funniest joke alive.

“Don’t make this sound so ugly, Soraya.”

“You’ve been involved with another man during your marriage. Kael hasn’t pressed charges—he’s already shown you mercy.”

She tapped the equity transfer agreement with one finger.

“You can’t disgrace the Voss family and still hold their shares.”

“I’ve done nothing inappropriate with Dr. Thorne.” Soraya’s voice turned hoarse and exhausted as she clutched the damaged medallion tight.

“Those shares were personally transferred to me by Elara.”

“No one but her has the right to take them back.”

Kael’s expression darkened dangerously.

“Soraya, you’re married to ME.”

“Don’t think currying favor with my mother puts you above me.”

“You will sign these papers today, whether you like it or not!”

Ignoring his threats entirely, Soraya pulled out her phone.

“You’re so desperate to drive me out, and it’s never just about the divorce, is it?”

She opened a screenshot of corporate financial records.

“Last month, while organizing Elara’s business emails, I found multiple suspicious transactions.”

“Funds were transferred from the Voss Global main account into this estate, then funneled into several newly established shell companies.”

Vaughan, the CFO, panicked instantly and rushed toward her phone.

Soraya stepped backward swiftly, avoiding his grasp.

“Why the rush?”

“Every single one of these suspicious transactions bears Kian’s signature approval.”

Complete silence fell over the entire hall.

Kael stared at her coldly.

“Who gave you permission to audit company finances?”

“My shares grant me full shareholder audit rights.” Soraya let out a sharp, mocking laugh.

“If these accounts were clean, why are you all so terrified?”

Heavy, uniform footsteps echoed from outside the hall entrance.

Estate staff immediately stepped aside to make way.

A man in his mid-thirties walked in, flanked by over a dozen personal bodyguards.

He wore a tailored designer suit, and on his wrist sat the luxury watch I’d personally gifted him years ago.

It was Kian.

“Kian!” Kael hurried forward to greet him.

Jorenna linked her arm through Kian’s other side, her tone sweet and aggrieved.

“Kian, you’re finally here.”

“Soraya’s causing trouble with a fake medallion and stealing confidential company financial data.”

Kian patted her hand soothingly.

“Don’t be afraid.”

“I’m here. No one can bully you while I’m around.”

Silas gritted his teeth in fury beside me.

“Ms. Elara, he’s truly treating your estate like his own private territory.”

I watched Kian silently, every old memory resurfacing.

He’d gone hungry in an orphanage as a child.

I paid for his education, brought him into Voss Global Holdings, and put him in full charge of our private estate operations.

He’d once knelt before me and sworn an oath to protect the Voss family with his life.

But now, all he wanted to protect was Voss’s wealth for himself.

Soraya’s eyes lit up with desperate hope when she saw him.

“Uncle Kian, Elara begged you to look after me before she left the country!”

“She gave me this medallion! They’ve fabricated fake photos and tried to force an invasive prenatal test on me—please stop them!”

Kian walked straight up to her, completely ignoring the bleeding wound on her hand. His eyes locked only on her phone.

“Hand over the phone.”

Soraya froze in shock.

“What?”

“Corporate financial records are strictly confidential business property.” Kian extended his hand coldly.

“You have no right to store private company data.”

Soraya finally understood the truth.

“You’re so desperate to take my phone because you’re afraid I’ll expose your crimes, aren’t you?”

“Insolent!”

Kian’s expression hardened, and he stepped toward her aggressively.

Soraya stumbled backward, nearly colliding with the roulette wheel.

Dr. Thorne rushed forward to steady her.

Taking advantage of her stunned state, Kian snatched the phone and dropped it onto the marble floor.

The screen went dark instantly.

He then ripped the obsidian medallion from her grasp and tossed it carelessly to Harlan.

“Destroy this fake immediately.”

“From now on, anyone carrying a counterfeit medallion will answer for it.”

Soraya covered her stinging cheek, staring at him with burning hatred.

“Breaking my phone changes nothing.”

“I already uploaded full backups of every suspicious transaction.”

The calm mask on Kian’s face finally cracked.

“Where are the backups?”

“Scared now?” Soraya smiled through her tears.

“I’ll hand every last file directly to Elara the second she returns.”

A cold, ruthless look settled over Kian’s face.

“Elara Voss is overseas and out of reach.”

“Voss Global answers to ME and Kael now.”

Soraya shot back coldly.

“Since when did Voss Global fall under your control?”

Kian stared at her, then suddenly smiled darkly.

“I was willing to let you walk away.”

“But you insist on making this worse for yourself.”

“Tonight, no one can stop what’s coming.”
