99 Times He Left Me Mid-Moon for a Fake Omega – The 100th? I Marked His Rival Alpha Chapter 04
My injured leg hit the floor hard. My wolf yelped inside me.
“Maddox, what the hell is wrong with you!”
“I thought you were just jealous and dramatic. But I never imagined you’d actually do something like this!”
Maddox was furious. He threw his phone right at my face.
I ignored the pain and looked at the screen. A gossip article about Quinn being a homewrecker. With photos. Compromising ones.
“Are you trying to drive her to her death? She had a complete breakdown after seeing this. Nearly slit her wrists!”
I gritted my teeth through the pain.
“It wasn’t me! I didn’t do anything!”
But Maddox didn’t believe me. Not one bit. He stared at me with eyes cold as silver.
“Arden, when you fuck up, there are consequences.”
Next thing I knew, pack enforcers came in and started dragging me away.
“What are you doing? I told you it wasn’t me!”
I fought them with everything my wolf had. Claws out. Snarling. But Maddox just stood there. Didn’t even turn around.
“When one scandal breaks, you need a bigger scandal to bury it.”
“I’m just giving you a taste of what you put her through.”
I stared at him in disbelief. My whole body shook. My wolf whimpered.
“No, Maddox, you can’t do this to me!”
“It really wasn’t me-why can’t you believe me just once!”
Maddox frowned. Then his phone rang. His face went white.
“Don’t let her get hurt-I’m coming right now!”
He hung up and rushed out. Didn’t even glance at me.
I watched him disappear. My wolf curled up and died inside.
Then they locked me in the basement.
They stripped off every piece of my clothing. Left me with nothing.
“Please don’t. I’m begging you. Let me go. I can pay you—”
Next second, they shoved a rag in my mouth. I couldn’t say another word.
Tears of humiliation rolled down my face. Couldn’t even die if I wanted to.
They tied my hands and feet to the bed. Pulled out cameras. Started taking pictures.
After a while, I heard one whisper.
“Isn’t this too easy for this bitch? Should we spice things up a bit?”
“What if we stuff some silvered grapes inside her? That’d go viral for sure.”
“That doesn’t seem right… she’s the Alpha’s Luna…”
Another wolf grinned. Gross.
“So what? Alpha’s the one who told us to teach her a lesson, right?”
“Just taking pictures isn’t enough. She needs to learn this lesson deep.”
Then they pushed grape after grape inside me. Silvered ones. Burning like acid.
My body shook uncontrollably. My wolf screamed.
Blood started flowing from my forehead again. Everything turned red. Tears mixed with blood. Slid down my face.
I don’t know how long it went on.
Then the wolf on top of me got off. Screamed.
“She’s… she’s bleeding so much!”
“Shit! We went too far!”
The wolf went pale as death. Ran away like cowards.
My wrists were cut raw from the restraints. But I couldn’t even feel the pain anymore.
I broke free. Dragged my numb body step by step out of the basement.
Every step left blood on the floor.
Cold lake water reached my calves. I looked ahead.
Mom and Dad were waving at me.
“Dad… Mom… have you come to take me home?”

At the pack hospital, Maddox stayed by Quinn’s side. Then he felt something wrong.
He frowned. My desperate look flashed through his mind.
Just then, his pack beta ran over in a panic.
“Alpha Blackwood… Luna… Arden!”
