Last Life, She Laughed While I Died. This Life, She’ll Cry While I Watch Chapter 06

Dean Taylor took Michael’s phone and scrolled through a few pages. Then he compared the

messages with the ones on Mandy’s phone, his frown deepening.

He suddenly turned to Mandy, undisguised disgust in his voice.

“Mandy Taylor, what else do you have to say for yourself?”

Mandy was so frightened that she collapsed onto the ground.

Her phone slipped from her hand, the screen clearly showing her chat logs with the vendor, full of

doctored explicit photos of me.

I stared at her.

“I never took any of those photos. Did you use my pictures to make AI-generated fakes?”

She still tried to shake her head and deny it, but my father said coldly, “Whether they were made with AI or not, my company’s tech department will find out.”

The students watching all erupted at once.

Someone cursed, “Oh my God, Mandy is vicious. She really went this far to frame her.”

Someone else laughed sarcastically. “So that was her whole ‘Dean Taylor’s daughter’ act. Talk

about making herself the main character.”

Mandy opened her mouth, still trying to argue.

“I-I only…”

Before she could finish, the residence hall supervisor suddenly rushed forward with a bucket of

cold water and dumped it over Mandy’s head without another word.

“I can testify. The one who kept coming back late wasn’t Savannah. It was Mandy.”

“She was drunk out of her mind, and anyone could tell she was trouble.”

Mandy froze for three seconds, her wet hair plastered to her face.

Then she jumped up and pointed at the supervisor, cursing wildly.

“You old two-faced hag. You used to kiss up to me every chance you got, and now you’ve switched

w dare you help Savannah frame me?”

The supervisor planted her hands on her hips and spat back.

“Frame you? I have security footage.”

“I was stupid enough to let you fool me before. You used your fake identity as Dean Taylor’s daughter to bully people all the time. Don’t act like this is your first time.”

Someone sneered.

“Exactly. Who did she think she was, throwing her weight around every day? Serves her right.”

“Good. She had it coming. Someone like her should be kicked out of school.”

Mandy’s face twisted with rage.

Seeing that no one was willing to help her, she rolled her eyes back and collapsed to the ground, pretending to faint.

Unfortunately for her, no one cared.

Even Zoe and Hailey had shrunk back to the side, trying to make themselves invisible.

By then, Logan seemed to realize which way the wind was blowing. He forced a fake smile and

moved toward me.

“Savvy, I was wrong. Mandy tricked me too. Don’t hold it against me.”

“If she hadn’t used AI and made everything look so real, how was I supposed to know?”

“I still love you. Can we start over?”

I scoffed and slapped him across the face.

“That was me returning the slap.”

“And stay the hell away from me. Since when are we close?”

Logan still tried to come closer, but my father blocked him.

“Defamation, spreading sexual rumors, and distributing someone’s image without consent. We’ve already called the police.”

Seeing the situation turn against him, Dean Taylor hurried forward to plead, “Mr. Shaw, we’ve

known each other for years.”

“Please show some mercy. Don’t call the police.”

“If you call the police, how is this school supposed to keep operating?”

My father scoffed.

“Are you really going to protect a student like Mandy Taylor just to preserve your precious reputation?”

Dean Taylor hurriedly turned to me.

“Absolutely not. Savannah, please don’t worry. I will never protect Mandy.”

“And those cards around campus-I’ll have every single one removed today. No, within the hour.”

“As for Mandy, the school will expel her immediately.”

“Please put in a good word with Mr. Shaw and stay. This school can’t afford to lose an outstanding student like you.”

The moment Mandy heard that, she instantly “woke up.” She crawled over and clung to Dean Taylor’s leg, crying.

“Dean Taylor, I’ve already admitted I was wrong. You can’t expel me.”

“Isn’t school supposed to educate people? If a student makes a mistake, the school should give her a chance.”

Dean Taylor kicked her off and snapped in disgust.

“With conduct like yours, this school has no place for you.”
