However, Bill did not back down. 

On the contrary, he took his paranoid nature to the 

extreme. 

Day after day, he insisted on coming to the hospital, staying by my bedside, trying to resolve my

Bill said, “Shirley, tell me, how will you forgive me?”

Larry was not afraid at all, and showed a mocking smile again. “The person she has always loved is me. You know very well that you have never saved her. The person she is thankful for is actually me!” 

A hint of panic appeared on Bill’s face, and then it was replaced with anger. 

He was like an enraged beast, instantly engaging in a fight with Larry. 

Larry threw his fist while angrily scolding, “Bill, if you still have any self–esteem, get out immediately!” 

Bill retorted, “Why? Shirley is my woman. She willingly came into my arms. I didn’t force her, and I didn’t lie to her!” 

The fight between the two became more and more intense. I struggled to get out of bed and slapped Bill hard. His face immediately turned red. 

I looked at him with determination and indifference. “Go away. From now on, don’t let me see you again.” Bill looked at me, then lowered his eyes silently. 

He turned and left, as if he had lost his soul. 

After that, Larry and I started to flaunt our affection publicly. Actually, Larry had always been my 

business partner. Four years ago, we met at my brother’s funeral. He and my brother went to school together. 

Larry’s true identity was the illegitimate son of Troy Norris, which made him Bill’s uncle. However, Larry had never accepted to become a member of the Norris family. 

He wanted everything from the Norris family, while I wanted to avenge my brother. 

Our common goal was to destroy Bill. 

Therefore, over the past few years, Larry had been working with me and providing me with various financial connections. His help had made my plan proceed very smoothly. 

The purpose of showing our affection publicly was to trigger Bill. This was just part of our plan.
