My Ex-Fiancé Severed My Finger to Please His Lover Chapter 05

My Ex-Fiancé Severed My Finger to Please His Lover Chapter 05

My eyes nearly split open.

The pain almost made me pass out.

Sofia quickly picked up the severed finger and threw it out the window.

When she turned back, through the haze of pain clouding my vision, I saw her poisonous little

smile of victory.

“Marco, that’s enough. Be careful. If you regain your memory later, you won’t be able to clean this up,” a friend could not help whispering.

Sofia cut him off immediately.

“Marco, Uncle will be here any minute. Do you want to watch Elena lose all four limbs and be fitted with a dog collar?”.

“Sofia’s right. She can still get a prosthetic without a hand. That’s better than losing her life.”

Marco’s wavering expression hardened instantly.

Looking at me curled up and shaking, he gritted his teeth.

“Elena, I’m doing this for your own good. I’ll make it up to you later.”

I was in too much pain to speak.

Tears of despair slid from the corners of my eyes.

The silver knife was about to fall again when the ballroom doors were suddenly pushed open.

Surrounded by bodyguards, Salvatore De Luca strode in.

| In his arms was a little girl as delicate as a doll.

The moment they entered, she began looking around anxiously, as if searching for something.

“Daddy, put me down. I want Mommy. She said she was coming here today.”

The always cold man crouched and put her on the floor, then smiled as he rubbed her little head.

The bodyguards behind him immediately stayed close to the girl, not leaving her even half a step.

Everyone present understood at once.

This little girl was Don Salvatore’s precious daughter, the one he had hidden for four years.

From what the girl said, Donna was here today too.

The quick-witted guests had already started calling people secretly to prepare gifts.

Everyone knew Donna was Don Salvatore’s weak spot.

Make Donna smile, and what kind of business deal would still be impossible?

Sofia pushed through the crowd, grabbed a handful of candy from the table, and handed it over with a flattering face.

“Hi, sweetheart. You’re so cute. I like you so much. Auntie brought you candy.”

The little girl frowned at her, then immediately pouted.

“Mommy said I can’t eat things from strangers. And you smile like a kidnapper. I don’t like you.”

Sofia was humiliated in public. She was furious inside but did not dare show it.

With a stiff smile, she still wanted to say something, but Marco pulled her aside.

He looked at Salvatore, his tone instinctively respectful.

“Don Salvatore, you’re here. Your daughter is here too. Why don’t we see Donna?”

“She came early.” Salvatore looked at him. “What? You didn’t see her?”

Marco was stunned.

What did he mean, he had not seen her?

It was not as if Marco knew Donna.

While he was still confused, the little girl’s clear voice rang out.

“When Mommy left home, she said she was coming to an old friend’s wedding. You don’t even recognize your own old friend? A kid has better memory than you. I only saw you once in our family

photo, and I knew you were the cousin who died and came back.”

Marco’s face filled with embarrassment.

“You weren’t dead, so why did you wait five years to say you were alive? You’re a grown-up, and you’re not even as honest as me. Aren’t you ashamed for lying for five years?”

“Aren’t you getting married today? Can you help me find my mommy?”

Before Marco could react, Sofia quickly said, “Sweetheart, we didn’t see your mommy. But we did

find a bad woman pretending to be your mommy.”

“She didn’t just impersonate your mommy. She also faked your mommy’s wedding ring and tried to seduce your daddy.”

The moment she said that, Salvatore’s face turned cold.

Seeing his anger, Sofia grew even more excited.

“Don Salvatore, you have no idea how disgusting that woman is. A few days ago, she wore a fake wedding ring just like the one you gave Donna. I reminded her that you only love Donna, but she actually said you were her husband. Shameless, right?”

Marco frowned.

Hearing Sofia’s words, he felt vaguely that something was wrong.

He wanted to stop her, but Salvatore smiled.

His voice was cold enough to make spines freeze.

“Then tell me. Who is this shameless woman?”

“She’s Marco’s ex-fiancee. My sister. Elena Vitale.”

The moment those words landed, the faces of everyone behind Salvatore changed.

But Sofia noticed nothing.

She went on with smug satisfaction.

“Marco lost his memory and only loves me now, so she came to our wedding to make trouble. She claims she only loves Marco, but wears a fake version of your and Donna’s wedding ring on her hand. Isn’t she obviously trying to seduce you? A peasant dreaming of a seat at the Don’s table.”

“Even though she’s my sister, I’ve always known she’s disloyal, vicious, and jealous. At home, she bullied me all the time. I tolerated all of that. But when she dared impersonate your beloved wife, I couldn’t stand it anymore.”

“Don’t worry. We already cut off the finger wearing that fake ring to vent your anger.”

“I even threw her finger out the window. You won’t find it now.”

“If you’re still angry and want to hit her or kill her, go ahead. You don’t need to spare my feelings.”

“What the hell are you? You think our Don Salvatore needs to spare your feelings?”

Salvatore’s first assistant immediately stepped in front of him and quickly ordered someone to

carry the little girl away.

Salvatore’s face was terrifyingly dark.

Sofia thought he was angry at me and wanted to add more fuel to the fire.

Marco finally realized something was wrong and stopped her quickly, his voice low with fury.

“Shut up!”

The Donna had arrived first.

But everyone present had been invited personally by him.

The only exception was me.

And there was also that little girl’s face, seven or eight parts similar to mine.

An absurd, impossible guess slowly formed in his mind.
