My Sister Reborn Took My Groom Chapter 01
My stepsister and I were getting married on the same day. That morning, I had just settled into the limo when bullet chat suddenly started flooding my vision out of nowhere.
[Yvonne’s so slick! First thing she does after her rebirth? Swaps the limos and steals her sister’s fiancé. Her ex-brother-in-law is now her husband. And we’re supposed to buy her as some sweet victim? Please. That girl’s a predator.]
[What do you mean ‘steal’? Harrison Cole is a future billionaire! Yvonne suffered her whole life in her past life. What’s wrong with choosing a better path this time around?]
[Exactly. Yvonne was nice enough to leave her sister short-lived train wreck of a husband. LOL.]
Stunned, I reached up to lift my veil, but more text flashed forward.
[Actually, Harrison was reborn too. He tacitly approved the bride swap this time. After all, Yvonne was the regret he could never have in his past life.]
My hand froze. I let the man lead me out of the car anyway.
Good.
This time around, I wanted a different husband too.

I quietly let the stranger guide me through the venue.
Above the deafening noise of the celebration, a confused female voice drifted over from nearby.
“Harrison, what are you looking at?”
It was my stepsister, Yvonne Vance. Clad in her gown, her arms were wrapped tightly around Harrison’s neck.
Her veil blocked her view, but hearing the commotion around them and feeling the man leading her suddenly freeze, she grew anxious.
“Nothing.”
Harrison shot a cold glance in my direction. When he spoke to her, his voice turned infinitely tender and affectionate.
“Yvonne, I finally shook off the people who don’t matter. In this life, I’ll cherish you and protect you forever.”
With that, Harrison kept walking.
He led Yvonne firmly toward the run-down, cramped apartment nearby.
The entire time, I kept my head down in silence.
Amid the guests’ teasing and laughter, the man led me into the Hettler Mansion.
Once the crowd dispersed, I was finally able to sit down.
The veil was lifted.
I looked up straight into a pair of bright eyes.
Aiden Hettler, the heir of the Hettler family.
I barely interacted with Aiden in my past life. I only knew that whenever anyone mentioned him, it was never anything good—he was a spoiled, reckless trust-fund brat who used his family’s wealth to cause trouble everywhere.
The moment Aiden saw my face clearly, the smirk on his lips froze.
He frowned at me. “You’re not Yvonne.”
His voice was certain.
My heart skipped a beat.
Before I could answer, his brow cleared, and that careless smirk returned.
“You’re Shirley Vance? The older daughter?”
It was my turn to be stunned.
He knew me?
Then again, Yvonne and I were the only two brides getting married in town today. Anyone with a brain could have figured it out.
“Yes,” I said, meeting his gaze evenly.
Aiden’s eyes darkened, but he said nothing.
Watching him fall into thought, my heart sank.
Harrison had been more than willing to go along with Yvonne’s little limousine swap.
But this infamous playboy might not be so eager to accept a marriage that happened by mistake.
Yet I had no retreat.
I swallowed my feelings and was about to speak when I caught the look of quiet relief on Aiden’s face.
He murmured to himself, “Good.”
While I stood there frozen, he flashed a casual smile and held out his hand to me.
“What are you standing around for, my beautiful bride? If you’re ready, let’s go greet my parents.”
